How will it affect your shoot?
I’m really excited to be able to take photo shoot bookings again, but to keep everyone as safe as possible there will be a few changes to the way I normally shoot.
For the time being, I strongly recommend booking a location shoot over a studio shoot as there's more space and lots of fresh air. That being said, if you have your heart set on a studio shoot, I have a few new rules in place to make it as safe as possible for everyone.
At the moment, I’ll only be taking individual bookings for studio shoots so it will be 1 on 1 sessions only, no groups or friends I'm afraid (unless you’re under 18 then you can bring 1 guardian). I can be a bit more flexible about numbers on location shoots as there is more space, but it will still be limited.
During location shoots I’ll be shooting from at least 2 meters away, but this wont affect your images as I usually shoot from this distance anyway. During studio shoots I'll try to keep my distance as best as possible but space will be more restrictive.
I will have hand sanitizer for you to use and if you have a studio shoot I will kindly ask you to wash your hands on arrival.
I won't be able to greet you with a hand shake or say goodbye with a hug at the moment I’m afraid, so I hope you don’t think I’m being unfriendly. I also won't be able to help you adjust your hair etc. but I’ll certainly let you know if you need to adjust something yourself.
To limit contact, unfortunately, I wont be able to show you the images on-camera during the shoot like I would normally. You’ll just have to pretend we’re shooting on film and look forward to the excitement of when the images have been ‘developed’! I will constantly review the images during the shoot myself though, to make sure you’re looking great! And as always, you'll get an online album after the shoot to view all the images for you to choose from.
Please make sure you leave enough time to get to your shoot, especially if you're avoiding public transport. If we are shooting on location, please use the loo before you come as there may not be anywhere to go during the session.
If you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or develops any symptoms please let me know immediately so that we can reschedule your shoot. It is essential you follow these guidelines to protect everyone as best as possible and to help me continue shooting. To help make this possible, I will be waiving all cancellation fees temporarily. Out of politeness though, please do give me as much notice as possible if you need to postpone your shoot, so that I may be able to give your slot to someone else or make other plans. But if you have to cancel on the morning of the shoot, I’d prefer that, if it may risk anyone’s health.
Overall, it's still going to be a fun shoot and end in great images so I can't wait to work with you soon!
